Cecilia Grant was a great mother, grandmother and great grandmother and my mother. She truly loved her children and spoiled my daughter, her grand daughter (Haley Grant). She would always give Haley anything she asked for, it always warmed my heart to see Haley and my mom spending time together. Myself and Haley will always remember her and will always think about her. She will be missed.

Neville and Lennox, in Toronto, Canada, and Jean, in New York, USA, extend our condolences to the family of Cecilia Grant, also known as Ruth Finley.
Miss Ruth was a friend and neighbour of our parents, Joseph and Ann Rose (Muzzy) Abraham of Village Road, Grenville.
As children, and later as adults, she showered us with kindness and generosity. She welcomed us into her home whenever we visited from abroad, and made sure that we always left with some goodies.
We pray that her family will be comforted by the knowledge that she was a woman of faith; that she lived a long, active, and productive life; and that she was respected in the community.
May she rest in peace! May she obtain eternal bliss!

I do mourn the death of Miss Ruth as the end of that era in which my childhood and boyhood was rooted. I have always looked at Miss Ruth with special regard, because I suppose she stood out. She stood out for her kindness and because she was always so pleasant. She was never quarrelsome which was common back then, and never hard toward children as so many others were.
I remember my mom sending me to her asking for assistance of one kind or the other and receiving it. My sister told me of Ms. Ruth kindness in allowing us to bathed under her standpipe that was out in the yard close to the breadfruit tree. And she also recalled going to Miss Ruth preprimary school at the back of the house. I do hope in this times of bereavement her children and family will take great comfort in the kind and respectful life she lived. She was a light not just to them but also to several of us in the community.
    May she Rest In Peace!
    Leon.

Cousin Ruth was a cousin of my dad. It broke my heart on September 1st while in Grenville and decided to pay her a visit only to be told that she passed away the night before. I remember visiting her some time ago and left with tasty tamarind balls and other goodies. Was really looking forward to see her after Raymond told me that she was in Grenada. My condolences to Maureen, Erroll, Brother Diana and the rest of the family. Praying that the Lord give us the strength to face the days and years ahead. Just missed her by a day.
    Roslyn.
